A warm welcome
awaits you at the Manger.
This family run pub is located in the beautiful
Suffolk countryside 5 miles from the historic
town of Bury St Edmunds.
The Manger with its traditional English feel
offers you a friendly inviting area for a drink
with friends or to enjoy some of the excellent food from their menus.

The Manger is known to be at least 500 years old and is and is typical of the Tudor period
with a wealth of oak beams and a large
welcoming inglenook fireplace.
Standing opposite Bradfield Hall, where the
last Abbot of Bury St Edmunds, John Reve,
lived, it has been used as a coaching halt
for most of its history.

The Stables Bistro, originally housed
travellers horses with later use as a
grain barn before conversion by the
current owner into a comfortable
restaurant.

The Stables Bistro offers the same
menu choice and is also available for
private functions and makes a perfect
venue for a wedding or party accommodating up to 50 guests.
